The BC Ale Trail is the definitive guide to craft beer in the province, providing locals and tourists alike with a list of the must-visit breweries in BC. They publish guides by region, and the Victoria Ale Trail guide is one that you’re going to want to check out. This is because, in addition to finding some great craft beer, the Victoria Ale Trail is offering a special promotion for the month of May. Visit six breweries on the designated Ale Trail and you could win a fantastic prize!

The contest is open to Victoria residents only, and all you have to do is visit six spots on the list of participating Ale Trail breweries before the end of May. Also, don’t forget to collect your passport stamp at each brewery. Victoria Ale Trail passports can be picked up at any one of the participating locations.

Breweries participating in the Victoria Ale Trail include Twa Dogs Brewing, Canoe Brewpub, Lighthouse Brewing, Category 12 Brewing, Driftwood Brewery, and Vancouver Island Brewing. There are even a few non-brewery locations in the mix, like The Pedaler, Cascadia Liquor Quadra, and The Drake Eatery. For a full list of participating locations, click here.

There are numerous prizes to be won this year. The two grand prizes are an overnight staycation for two at Spinnakers Guesthouses and two free passes for the Pedaler’s Hoppy Hour Bike Tour, respectively. Meanwhile smaller prizes include packages comprising BC Ale Trail swag, merchandise from participating breweries, and gift cards to local liquor stores and tap houses.

What are you waiting for? Explore local Victoria breweries in a COVID-friendly environment and enter for a chance to win one of several fabulous prizes.

If you’re a fan of beer and you’re looking for an excuse to leave the house, now is the time to grab your Victoria Ale Trail passport! And if you need a place to stay while in Victoria, we’d love for you to consider the Days Inn Victoria on the Harbour. We offer top-notch amenities and an incredible location in the heart of the city.
