Feeling cold? Come to Victoria!

  • June 18, 2018

The air is starting to get a chill! While it never gets THAT cold in Victoria, our seaside atmosphere takes on a bit of a bite that just provides even more reason to cozy up inside. Here are some indoor activities we’re looking forward to in the next few weeks!

THE SECRET GARDEN

The McPherson Playhouse is proud to present a stage adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett’s classic story, The Secret Garden! The story of a young girl who discovers the importance of family and connection when she moves to the country to live with her uncle in Yorkshire after the tragic death of her parents. A favourite of both children and parents, this is a theatre experience that’s perfect for the whole family. Come see Kaleidoscope Theatre bring the production to marvelous life!

STORIES TO WARM THE HEART

The Victoria Storyteller’s Guild celebrate the 6th Annual Canadian Storyteller’s Night with a very special gathering. When the weather turns cold, we naturally flock indoors to warm our hands. This offers a very special opportunity to hear each other’s stories. November 4, some of Victoria’s most gifted storytellers will gather at 1831 Fern St. to share Feeding The Heart’s Fire: Stories to Warm and Sustain Us.

FIRST CHANCE CHRISTMAS CRAFT SALE
