March Madness in Victoria: Astronauts, Comedy, and Art

  • June 18, 2018

Visiting Victoria this March? Then buckle up, because this month we’re going into...outer space! OK, not really, but we will have someone who has been into space on hand to tell us how it is. We’ll also have some of Victoria’s finest comedy taking place, and an exhibition about one of the Pacific Northwest’s first black artists. What more could you ask for? How about spacious accommodations, located right downtown, that come with a large TV and all you need to enjoy a relaxing break away? Book a room at Days Inn Victoria on the Harbour and you’ll have just that!

To The Stars!

If you’ve got any sense of wonder left in you, then you’ll be amazed by the magic of hearing Chris Hadfield talking at the Royal Theatre. If his tales of space travel won’t move you by themselves, then the accompanying live soundtrack from the Victoria Symphony just might. Chris will be hosting three shows over March 24 - 25: one each day at 8pm, and a matinee at 2pm on the Saturday.

A Laugh a Minute

It’s a Thursday. You’ve finished sightseeing for the day. Now what’s the best way to spend your evening? Why, why the Underground Comedy Collective of course! They perform each week, tackling the big issues (and some of the small issues too) with plenty of laughs thrown in. Find out more details by clicking here.

The Mystery of Grafton Tyler Brown

The title of this show says it all. How did Grafton Tyler Brown overcome racial prejudice to become an acclaimed artist? You have only until April 1 to find, when ‘The Mystery of Grafton Tyler Brown’ exhibition will be coming to a close. The event takes place in the University of Victoria’s Legacy Art Galleries, and is a must see for any art lover.
