Victoria might just be the most beautiful city in British Columbia – and that puts it in the running for the most beautiful city in the world! We don’t take it for granted, though! Come see what makes Victoria so special.

IMPACT SUSTAINABILITY CONFERENCE

BC and Canada are some of the most beautiful places in the world; that’s why tourism is one of our largest industries. People from around the globe come to Canada to see the resplendent beauty of our natural landscape.

Of course, there’s an irony there – the more popular the natural destination, the more pressure is put on it. How do we move forward, giving people access to all the wonders of Canada’s wilderness while protecting it for generations to come?

That’s the main goal of the Impact Sustainability Travel & Tourism conference this January 21-24 in Victoria. Industry leaders and concerned citizens will come together to discuss how to protect the environment while building the tourism industry in a responsible way. The Impact Conference is driven by the dream of achieving a collaborative vision for economic, social and environmental sustainability. We invite you to come take part in the discussion! Find out more here.

HARBOUR WALKING TOUR

Attending Impact? Take a break over lunch, and go for an educational, low-impact walking tour of Victoria’s harbour! Victoria is notable for having a harbour as part of its downtown core, so you don’t have far to go for beautifully calming ocean vistas, as well as fascinating history! Every Saturday at 1:00 PM the Victoria Maritime Museum will take you on an informative tour of this historically rich part of our fair city! Sign up here!

Days Inn Victoria on the Harbour couldn’t be happier to be part of Victoria’s harbour, just steps from the water. And don’t forget – we’re pet-friendly, so you can take your furry friends with you! Book your room today
