Christmas is the time for giving, it’s also the time to enjoy one another's company and of course, ditch the diet and feast! However, it is also that time of year where cities evolve into winter wonderlands adorned with festive decorations and sparkling lights. Victoria, BC on any given day is a gorgeous town overlooking the Inner Harbour, but during the holidays, it is transformed into a truly beautiful spectacle.

Lights Of Wonder

Can you imagine what thousands of lights look like? You won't have to think too hard when Centennial Square in downtown Victoria undergoes a magical metamorphosis into the Lights of Wonder, the city's largest outdoor lights display event in its' history. From December 13th to December 30th, this grandiose village of lights will feature interactive light tunnels, brightly lit forests and a grand 40-foot Christmas tree. There will also be live entertainment, carolers, a beer garden and food vendors serving hot chocolate, pretzels, bratwurst and more. Admission to this family-friendly event is free.

From Thursday to Sunday, the Giving Booth will be accepting donations on behalf of local charities. Do your part during this season of giving!
