DINE AROUND VICTORIA

Victoria has one of the most refined culinary scenes on Vancouver Island and in BC – making it one of the greatest in the world! Chefs flock to the fresh ingredients offered by the waters of the Pacific Ocean and the lush abundance of Vancouver Island. If you love locally-sourced ingredients prepared by talented artisans, then Victoria is absolutely the place to be.

That’s why we’re excited for the return of Dine Around Victoria! Taking place over two weeks, dozens of Victoria’s finest restaurants and cocktail bars cooperate to present three-course prix-fixe meals for a reduced price so you can experience the best that Victoria has to offer, night after night after night.

The whole event kicks off on January 25 at a gala event at the Victoria Conference Centre, where you can sample amuse bouches and bites prepared by 60 participants in order to show their culinary prowess!
From there it’s up to you to choose what restaurants you’re going to try on the ultimate gourmet tour! Here are our recommendations:

Zambri’s: James Barber of The Vancouver Sun wrote of Zambri’s “the nicest little Italian restaurant in B.C.; probably in Canada.” Known for its classic Italian cuisine, Zambri’s is a must-visit in Victoria.

Marina Restaurant: Featuring one of the most stunning patio views in Victoria, Marina Restaurant is located directly on the water in Oak Bay and focuses on serving only the freshest, most-sustainable, locally caught seafood.

The Livet: Featuring a rooftop patio, a charcoal grill and a lively atmosphere, The Livet is Victoria’s favourite spot for tapas-style appetizers and share-plates. Try their kimchi-fried chicken – it will haunt your dreams (in a good way).
