20th Annual Salt Spring Island Apple Festival

Explore the 80 square mile island of Salt Spring Island by joining in on their annual Apple Festival on September 29th, 2019!  With over 450 varieties of apples grown organically and food from local Chef’s, you will have plenty of opportunities for apple tasting. Once you have purchased your ticket (adults are $10, students $5 and kids are free) you will be given a map of over 20 different farms that will be joining this year's Farm tours. Head over to your favourite farm and enjoy the many activities such as the apple art displays, raffles, educational information on growing apples and much, much more! With a history dating back to the 1860’s, you’ll be sure to learn a thing or two about apples.  How do you like them apples?

Motown Magic – 60 Years of Music Hits!

Motown Magic is a concert celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Motown, 60th Anniversary of Motown, with Canadian singer Leina DeBoer and recording artist Owen Lee. There will be special guest stars such as Karina Evangeline, Danica Domay, Teagan Gibson, Rebecca Laurenti and The Motown Magic Band. Come join the magic on October 3rd, 2019 at the Dave Dunnet Theatre as they bring you back through the years singing all-time favourites! Featuring over 20 loved classic hits such as “My Girl”, “Please Mr. Postman” and “Respect”, just to name a few. Tickets are at affordable prices, starting as low as $15 and a high of $52; you won’t want to miss this nostalgic evening!
