Staying safe (and warm) this winter has never been easier thanks to the slew of restaurants in Victoria that are now offering takeout and delivery services. To cope with the pandemic, some of the top eateries in the city have introduced takeout or delivery options, making it safer and more convenient than ever before to eat delicious food. Below, we’ve provided a list of the top three restaurants offering both takeout and delivery in Victoria right now.
Authentic Italian cuisine delivered right to your door? Yes, please! That’s exactly what you get with Pagliacci’s, now offering takeout and delivery. Their dinner menu has something for everyone, from Wagyu beef carpaccio and seafood linguine to mushroom ravioli and even a vegan Buddha bowl. Pagliacci’s is currently open every day for lunch and dinner, as well as brunch on weekends.
Thai Green Elephant Restaurant
Get your Thai food fix at Thai Green Elephant Restaurant. They are hands down one of the top Thai restaurants in all of Victoria, and they are now open Monday to Saturday from 3 pm until 9 pm for both takeout and delivery. Thai Green Elephant has a huge menu that features everything from their signature deep fried vegetarian spring rolls to the Kao Pad Suparod (pineapple fried rice). Other dishes include their spicy Pad Thai available with prawns, chicken, beef, pork, or tofu, and the sweet Gang Mussaman curry with peanuts and potatoes.
Nubo Japanese Tapas
In the mood for the finest Japanese restaurant in the city? Then you’re in luck because Nubo Japanese Tapas is open for business. They currently offer both dine in and delivery, the latter via DoorDash and Skip the Dishes. This fine dining sushi bar has quickly made a name for itself in Victoria since opening in 2016. Now, they are offering all their signature dishes to-go. Must-trys include the Puff Daddy, a deep fried wonton with cream cheese and crab meat, the Over the Rainbow Roll with tuna, wild salmon, ebi, avocado, and crab meat, and the unique Fish N Chips Roll featuring three different types of tempura, as well as fish eggs, avocado, and actual potato chips!

Attention, snowbirds! While you may not be able to fly south for the winter, you can still go west. British Columbia, and particularly Vancouver Island, has the mildest climate in all of Canada and, this year, presents the very best alternative for Canadians who want a warmer escape this season.
