When vacationing in Victoria at the Days Inn on the Harbour one of the places that the family will enjoy or the person taking a day off of their business trip is the Pacific Undersea Garden. The underwater garden is filled with kelp, a sunken ship and all types of water life, with over 5,000 animals and fish species that inhabit the aquariums around the vessel. This appears to be a natural environment, but yet it is one that is protected.

One of the things that will thrill visitors is the specially designed tidal pond that allows visitors to handle some of the sea life. There is also a theater area that is located at the end of the ship that spans 150 feet. Visitors will find there is seating that provides a great view for the  show where divers will give a guided tour among the sea life educating the visitors about them in a way that thrills the youngest to the oldest member of the family. Divers have gear that they are able to talk to the visitors while underwater taking the guests on a guided tour of 45 to 60 minutes.

There are viewing areas where some of the sea life that will be seen can include sea stars, crabs, anemones, salmon, perch, rockfish, wolf eels and a special inhabitant Armstrong the Giant Pacific Octopus.
There is the Treasure Cove Gift Shop where visitors will find treasures to take home, that include marine related items like toys, souvenirs, post cards, clothing, and jewelry.

There is also a snack bar that makes it possible for the family to spend the entire day watching the sea life in its own habitat while still protected. It will be a learning experience for everyone in the family while staying at the Days Inn Victoria BC hotel.
