The Inner Harbour

The Inner Harbour hosts an endless list of family-friendly spring and summer festivals and events, including the Victoria Harbour Arts Festival, and the Night Market. Transportation: Getting To Victoria

Days Inn Victoria On The Harbour is located on the southwest side of the Inner Harbour, directly across from the Canada-U.S. ferry terminal, just west of the B.C. Legislature Building.

BC Ferries – Vancouver – Victoria (Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay)

Crossing Time: 1 hour 35 minutes

Distance: 24 nautical miles

The Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal is located 20 miles/32 km north of Victoria at the end of Highway 17. Total estimated driving time from Victoria: 45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Victoria International Airport

The 10th busiest airport in Canada, the Victoria International Airport (YYJ) is approximately 25 km (15.5 miles) north of Victoria, The drive to or from the airport takes you past the resort town of Sidney-by-the-Sea, and Saanich. Victoria Airport Shuttle

The airport shuttle departs every half hour from the airport to downtown Victoria for $25 each way. No reservations are necessary. Tickets for the shuttle are available by the baggage carousels.

Harbour Air/Helijet

With a seaplane terminal in Victoria’s Inner Harbour, Harbour air provides air service between Victoria, Vancouver, Whistler, Richmond and Nanaimo. The company was founded in 1982 and with more than 30 years’ experience under their wing, they are masters at first class transportation around the province. For reservations, call 1-800-665-0212 during business hours; Monday to Friday 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (pst).

Helijet operates between the Victoria Harbour Heliport, the Vancouver Harbour Heliport, and Vancouver International Airport. For reservations, call toll-free at 1-800-665-4354.
