Hit the streets this summer Victoria. There will be plenty of things to do and see, with more and more festivals galore. Here are three events to sample from the abundant options during these hot summer months!
Sidney Street Market
130 Vendors. Up to 5000 people each week. Every Thursday night from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Starting June 6, 2019, and concluding on August 29, 2019. Admission: free. There’s nothing to turn away from when it comes to the Sidney Street Market. On these evenings the main street of Victoria is transformed into a concoction of market, festival, and artisanal jewelry. Northwest Deuce Days
Originating in 1998 and only occurring every three years, this old-schooler’s event is perfect to take (road) trip down memory lane. The Northwest Deuce Days brings in all spectators from Victoria’s backyard to people from across the globe. A car show it may be, but it also brings in over 1200 vehicles dating from before 1952 and over 500 of which are Deuces. The event starts on July 18, 2019 and concludes on July 21, 2019 at Victoria’s Inner Harbour and Legislature Grounds.
Vegtoria!
As you may have guessed, Vegtoria is a festival in Victoria that promotes and celebrates veganism, cruelty-free living, and the environment all in just one day. Admission is free on July 20, 2019 at Centennial Square in Victoria. Festivities will be ing at 11:00 AM and conclude at 6:00 PM. Everyone and anyone is welcome to enjoy and express value that this community experiences today.
Why not pitch a tent and stay a while? Okay, maybe not a tent - besides, who needs tents when the Days Inn Victoria has marvelous bright, traditional hotel rooms!
