Great summer concerts in Victoria!

Victoria is a little big city, with a musical culture all its own. It also attracts great acts from around the world, giving you a chance to see intimate concerts from some of your favourite performers! Check out some of these incredible acts coming through town!
 

RYAN ADAMS

From his genre defining turn in Whiskeytown to his concept cover album where he performed and recorded his own versions of every song on Taylor Swift’s “1989,” Ryan Adams makes musical genius look easy. A country troubadour, a rock god, an enfant terrible  and, most importantly, just a really good songwriter, Ryan Adams will be coming to the Alix Goolden Hall in Victoria on June 25th.
This concert will be a rare treat. If you don’t know, the Alix Goolden Hall is a beautiful church that has been converted to a concert hall, transforming concerts into beautiful, spiritual experiences. DELHI 2 DUBLIN

Delhi 2 Dublin exemplify the ideal of “world music,” representing the union of incredibly different musical traditions into joyful, uplifting dance music. They’ll be performing on the legislative lawns at BC’s Parliament building Friday, June 30th, in preparation for the Canada Day weekend. Put on your dancing shoes and come have fun!
 

PHILLIPS BACKYARD WEEKENDER

The line-up for this year’s Phillips Backyard Weekender hasn’t been released yet, but in previous years it’s been an incredible time for a very low price.
