For a big city, Victoria feels like a small town, tucked into the Vancouver Island against the waters of the Georgia Strait. Cozy and quaint, it’s the perfect place to enjoy Christmas.

BUTCHART GARDENS: THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS

We’ve talked about what a special place the Butchart Gardens are many times before. That’s because in a city full of beautiful gardens, Butchart is clearly the most gorgeous. Carefully curated by world-class gardeners, Butchart Garden is a must-visit any time you come to Victoria.

The Christmas season is no exception to that rule. All December, Butchart Gardens will be covered in beautiful, festive lighting that transforms the space into a Winter Wonderland! And that’s not all; there will be all sorts of fun holiday events that you should also attend!

November 24, you can attend the Magic of Christmas Dinner and Dance! Catered by Butchart Gardens beloved Dining Room, this buffet-style dinner will feature traditional carollers for entertainment, as well as a perfectly enchanting dance! Bring someone you love for a romantic night in the magical lights!

From December 1 to January 6, you’ll be greeted by carolers singing festive songs to really put you in that holiday spirit! Then explore the gardens and the Twelve Days of Christmas display, but don’t forget to bring your skates for a tour of the 5,000 square foot skating rink on the garden grounds! And when you’re done with that, enjoy a hot cocoa and gingerbread at The Coffee Shop for the perfect end to a truly magical evening.

We look forward to this time of year at Butchart every winter. Don’t miss out.

Coming to Victoria this December! Enjoy a comfy, cozy stay at the Days Inn Victoria on The Harbour. Our warm, inviting rooms are the perfect place to curl up after exploring the wintery spray of the ocean at the waterfront! Book your room today!
